Apache tear obsidian is protective and grounding like other obsidians but it is especially supportive for grief. The lore behind Apache tear is a group of 75 Pinal Apaches were attacked by US troops. The women of the lost warriors wept for one month so the Great Spirit pressed their tears into small black stones. These stones bring good luck and whoever carries one would never cry again because the Apache women shed our tears in their place.
