Norns, the Weavers of Fate. There are three main norns that live under Yggdrasil, the world tree, at the Well of Urd- the Well of Fate. Urth (past), Verdani (present), and Skuld (future). They weave the fate of gods and men alike. There are also lesser norns that arrive at the birth of a person in order to determine their future.
I scented this candle with patchouli, sandalwood, myrrh, and rosemary- among other oils. It's earthy and heady. These oils are most noted for spiritualism, underworld, grounding, and protection. I topped it with rutilated quartz, vervain, Icelandic Moss and silver and black glitter. Rutilated Quartz is a stone of transformation. The needle like inclusions are much like the cords of Fate that the norns weave. Vervain is the herb that is sacred to and used by the Norns. Is known as the witches herb and has numerous uses- from protection and purification to healing and divination. Icelandic moss is used for protection and exorcism. Attached is a spider web charm.
As always this is a pure beeswax candle hand poured from local beeswax. Scented with pure essential oils and finished with a wood wick.
